wanna know what makes the show good?

the fact that it doesnt give two shits about itself OR the fans.
that and you cant explain the show to anyone without them watching it. it's like rocky horror picture show and FLCL, you just cant believe this thing actually exist XD

Very true. Although I have expressed that I didn't find the show all that amazing, looking back now, I do have to admit it is definitely unique, and I may just end up watching it again for that very reason. It was quite the change of pace from the typical highschool shounen "learning to grow up" or "I want to be stronger" garbage.

Ha ha, well, we weren't completely drunk when recording this, we were just really buzzed. (Personally, when I pass the sweet spot between buzzed and full-on drunk, my sense of timing goes out the window. Then my playing just sounds like doom metal, lol.)
